U.S. Grant Coaches to Educate Dillard University Faculty and Community
DALLAS, TX MARCH 2, 2010. US GRANT COACHES, INC. is the home of the U.S. Grant Coaches Roadshow, an affordable grants seminar that trains churches, non-profits, community-based organizations and college faculty in over 50 cities annually. On March 31, 2010, they will stop at Dillard University at 2601 Gentilly Boulevard in New Orleans, Louisiana from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. On that day, college faculty and community organizations will come together to learn about the different ways that they can collaborate as a community to enhance existing programs and to develop new programs.
The US Grants Coaches Roadshow features Coach Margie Harper, a certified grants specialist with 25 plus years of grant writing and research experience. She holds a certification in small business development counseling and assists startup and existing business owners with business planning, loans, investor relations, minority certification and government contracting.
During a West2West interview, Margie shared, “The New Orleans community is near and dear to my heart. I have Haitian roots, so I feel as though these are my kin. There’s still so much work to do in New Orleans, and for that reason, we are offering our services for half the regular price. We want everyone to be afforded the opportunity to obtain information that will empower churches, ministries and non-profits to attain additional funding for their causes.”
US Grant Coaches, Inc. strives to be better than other grant companies in the area of grant training. Their seminars are customized based on location as well as the interest of participants in an effort to inform participants of funding opportunities available in their area. U.S. Grant Coaches’ ultimate goal is to empower churches and community organizations. The Roadshow will be in 50 cities nationwide in 2010.
